About Three Acres

Hi, my name is Brendan Quigley and I am the owner of Three Acres Shopify Agency.

In addition to being an entrepreneur and Shopify expert with over 7 years of experience helping merchants create and sell online, I am also a father of 5. I understand the challenges and demands of balancing work and family life, and strive to use my skills and expertise to help other business owners succeed while also managing their personal responsibilities.

I am passionate about supporting independent businesses and believe that they are key to a strong economy. It brings me great joy to help business owners succeed and achieve their goals. If you’re looking to start or grow your online store, I would be happy to help you with all of your Shopify needs.

How Maintenance Works


The first thing we do is establish access to all the required platforms and services. This includes your domain, hosting & wordpress site. Other platforms might be required depending on your site.

Install Support Plugins

The next step is to install plugins for Security, Monitoring and Backups. These tools will let me ensure that there are backups every month, to an external server.

Bi-Weekly Updates

Every 2 weeks I manually login to your wordpress site and update everything. This ensures the site stays updated, but it also means if something goes wrong I’ll notice and start fixing it right away.

What if there is an emergency?

If there is an issue with the site, I’ll likely already know. Thanks to uptime monitoring I will get an alert if the site is down for more than 5 mins. However if there is an issue beyond that you can reach out to me via email. 

What is considered an emergency?

An emergency in this context is specific to the uptime of the site, not the functionality. If the site can’t be accessed – it’s an emergency. 

All other issues will need to be quoted on as a seperate project.
